Jeep Wrangler Fan Switch Only Works On High

I replaced the climate control switch unit same problem.

That s why it works in high but nothing lower. Removing the leaves that had filled up in there fixed the switching from floor to defrost and the resistor fixed the speed control.

I replaced the switch and it made no difference. On high the power bypasses the resister. First things first your fuse block is behind your glove box you have to remove the glove box door to access it. On the lower settings the power goes through the resister to get the lower speeds.

It s always been my experiance that if the blower motor works only in high it s the resister that is bad. Resistor has been replaced. Is there something else in the circuit that controls the voltage to the blower motor. This doesn t sound like it could be.

I have a 2005 jeep wrangler and the fan setting is only working on high. My fan would only work on high and the switch from floor to defrost had stopped working also.
